The Automotive Engineering Bachelor prepares students to develop and test complete vehicles. The course focuses on learning how to perform complex professional tasks, to become a higly skilled and independent professional. It also trains students to work efficiently with people from different cultures and backgrounds. This is an asset for a successful international career in the automotive industry.

The course combines theory and practice during all 4 years and awards the degree Bachelor of Science. Students have the opportunity to do a 6-month work placement at an international company such as a car manufacturer, a supplier of car parts or testing company for example. A 6-month minor at a foreign institute is also part of the course, where students can deepen or broaden their knowledge. The minor can also be followed at HAN in Light Weight Vehicle Design or in Vehicle Electronics.

Or you will be Engine Development Engineer: develops engines or parts of engines or drivelines in close cooperation with design engineers and test engineers
